Kedah river from mid-town Alor Setar

Continuing from Visiting Kedah royal mausoleum at Langgar.

Later in the afternoon, we passed a bridge in mid-town Alor Setar.

The bridge crosses the Kedah river. After parking the car at the roadside I walked back towards the middle of the bridge.

A look upriver. There is another bridge about 100-200 metres away.

A look downriver.

From here the Kedah river twists and turns for almost 14 km before flowing into the Straits of Melaka.
