On to the third day of the northern trip made just over a week ago.
Saturday 27th December 2014. After spending some time at Sungai Petani we headed to the small town of Kota Kuala Muda. The town is situated beside the Muda river. So I decided to have a look.
The Muda river is a natural border between the states of Kedah and Pulau Pinang. Here is a look downriver. Across is the state of Pulau Pinang.

The mouth of the Muda river is about 4.6 km downriver from here, that is towards the right...
