Group visit to Beruas museum

Nine days ago I made the article Beruas raya open house invite without giving the date when what is told in the story happened. Well, it happened on Saturday, 9th August 2015. Now let's continue the storytelling.

Saturday saw what is essentially the seminar component of the function called HIKMAH Beruas. Sunday 10th August it's time for the field trip component of the function which is intended to bring participants to some historical places in and around Beruas. Having assembled at the hall where seminar was conducted we then convoyed to the Beruas museum in town.

I don't know when was the last time this museum received quite a turn out. Beruas is a sleepy town and it rarely got attention from outsiders.

Despite that Beruas as a province has very rich history. There was the Beruas kingdom which some believed was started in the 14th century AD. Then there was the earlier kingdom of Gangganegara which covers roughly the same area since 2th century AD.

This museum, openend in 1994 if not mistaken, showcases relics from Beruas' rich past...

Almost all who came here that morning have never been to Beruas before.

It sure was a merry sight seeing so many outsiders visting what more in traditional Malay attires...
