Exploring the limestone hill called Gunung Senyum part I



The journey was continued going south of Pulau Tawar. Entering a comfortable trunk road I saw this signboard pointing to the limestone hill called Gunung (mountain of) Senyum.


My original intention was to take the trunk road straight to Kuala Krau where there is a bridge crossing the Pahang river. But I just can't resist having a closer look at the hill despite the fact that it is situated some 16-17 km off the trunk road.











I have been here once before with the wife...


At that time we brought our 2 year plus old boy and his then just over a month old baby brother.


As it was almost dusk then I ventured in further alone.





Here and at this juncture I was practically repeating that old visit except it was done in the morning.
