Pahang river at Teluk Ira - Remnants of the recent extreme dry season?

Continuing from The sand island at Pulau Pasir Mandi

Next I arrived at a place called Teluk Ira where the rural road approaches close to the Pahang river.

Here I could see plenty of sandbanks suggesting the effect of the recent extreme dry season was still in play...
