Climbing up by bus to Talago Bukit

Continuing from Rao Rao to Pagaruyung.

We didn't stop at Pagaruyung though.

Instead we continued on southwards passing a place called Saruaso.

A check with Google Map shows the part of Saruaso we've just passed by is about 3 km south of Pagaruyung. But the bus still continued to somewhere further.

Here we can see the hill that lies behind the big palace at Pagaruyung.

The bus soon started to negotiate a narrow twisting and turning road climbing up a hill.

It was soon apparent we went all the way to the top of the hill to reach a place called Talago Bukit.
