From Bukit Tinggi to Rao Rao

At 8.08 am or so we gathered inside the bus to start another round of visits.

It was raining as we plied through a part of Bukit Tinggi heading southwards.

We wanted to go to Pagaruyung again, this time using a route which passes the eastern slopes of the 9,000 feet plus high Mount Merapi.

At 9.14 I noticed this interesting mosque and asked the driver to make a stop.

It is at an area called Rao Rao. Apart from me at least one other person insisted for a stop as he learned about a year ago that his forefathers migrated from here to Perak some 500 years ago.
