A check with Google Map shows, from Jalan Kuala Kangsar or rather, junction to Jalan Kuala Kangsar it is only 130 metres to Penang Road.
There, I've arrived at one of the biggest and most recognisable road in Georgetown.
To the left I could see the iconic KOMTAR building, the tallest man-made structure in Pulau Pinang.
But I took a right turn to get to the smaller iconic building of Chowrasta market.
I continued walking along Penang road heading for what I've checked on Google Map to be north-east.
As I go along I snapped pictures of some adjacent roads...
Next I saw a number of uniform bikes parked along the roadside.
As it turned out the bikes were for rent under a certain system where one can pick any bike from such a parking lot and return it at another such lot.
After some time I found what I was looking for at Penang Road, a famous Nasi Kandar (kind of mixed rice) restaurant.
After savouring a hearty meal I turned back towards the opposite side of Penang road and started exploring some adjacent roads...
