Continuing from A stop up Cameron Highlands from Sungai Koyan
Closer to Lembah Bertam we arrived at what seems to an abandoned portion of the Sungai Koyan-Cameron Highlands road.
At the end of the road lies a rather big body of water.
It is part of a new dam complex...
Now, I'm not sure when was this dam built. But I am sure it was not around when I first took the Sungai Koyan-Cameron Highlands route in 2012.
A look from another part of the body of water or lake. It is created out of the Bertam river.
What I understand is there was a huge blood in 2014 which destroyed a lot of land and property along the portion of river around here.
My guess is the dam was built some time after that...
