Saturday morning 7th October 2017. After spending a night at the main mosque of Tanah Rata we headed for the junction to Gunung (mount) Brinchang.
From there we followed a small twisting and turning road 7 km up until this point.
For the record the road ends at the summit of Gunung Brinchang more than 2,000 metres above sea level.
It is recognised as the highest tarmac road in Malaysia. We walked around to survey the summit area...
There is a telecommunication complex situated at the summit. Close to it is a viewing tower which offers superb views of the surroundings...
