Our walk to the south soon leads us to the Thammasat University.
It is situated along the eastern banks of the Chao Phraya river.
We walked pass a number of university buildings heading further south.
There is a statue dedicated to the founder of the university.
He was an intellectual lawyer who became a prime minster of Thailand...
