Continued from The 'extended' Terengganu river mouth.
At and upriver part of Kuala Terengganu city we found a new esplanade which looks like a combination of reclaimed land and long platform extending towards the middle of the river.
It is called Pesisir Payang. Pesisir literarily means waterfront while Payang refers to the name a famous nearby area.
Just like the tower bridge we did not notice these new buildings when we last went to Kuala Terengganu 8 months ago.
Much development has taken place at a rapid pace since then.
Looks like it is aimed at making Kuala Terengganu a great waterfront city...
