Bukit Engku Busu part II - Savouring the views from a vantage point about three quarters up to the summit

Continuing from Bukit Engku Busu part I - Starting the climb up.



The time stamp of my pictures show that the climb was started at 8.31 from the trailhead. A check with Google Earth shows that should be from around 30 metres or just under 100 feet above sea level.  At 9.13 am I caught sight of an opening area. This should be at about three quarters up towards the summit.



I could have actually missed this opening if not for the fact that I came across a group of young female climbers who had made a stop here. They were quite a noisy bunch alerting me to their presence and whereabouts...




There it is, a vantage point to savour the views around...







Down there is the Royal Malaysian Navy base of Lumut...










Across the wide river which is Sungai (river Dinding) lies a smaller river called Sungai Sepit.







However the area was shrouded by a thick mist.
