Peace be upon you. On to the 3rd day of the recent northern trip.
Thursday morning 2nd October 2025. After spending the night at a nearby mosque I went to the foot of the mountain called Gunung Jerai.
A few months earlier, in June, I also went to the foot with the intention of taking up the road towards the summit.
But I abandoned that after seeing so many cars taking the road. I was told there was a traffic jam for 5 kilometres.
Anyway, the last time I went up the mountain was some time in April 2017.
This time I practically got the road to myself and proceeded...
