On to Padang Tok Sheikh

Continuing from Going up Gunung Jerai after more than 8 years.

I went on till the trail entry to the place called Padang Tok Sheikh.

Have to hike a bit to get to there.

Padang Tok Sheikh literarily means field of Tok Sheikh, referring to a religious master of saintly status who lived nine centuries ago.

The field refers to this stony open area about 1,150 metres above sea level.

It is said the master usually conducts his prayers and extra religious practices here.
