The Beruas river estuary.
Next I went to check out the Dinding river near the small town of Changkat Keruing.
This is the same river that opens wide in front of the resort town of Lumut. Look at the older article The

While Lumut is about 5 km away from the estuary, Changkat Keruing is some 18 km further inland.

A look upriver. But really, given the calmness of the water its hard to tell the direction of flow, which way is inland, which way towards the sea until I have studied satellite pictures using Google Earth...
