Kedah river from the northern part of an Alor Setar mid-town bridge

Continuing from How the place which gave rise to the name Alor Setar connects to Kedah river.

Next I walked southwards to reach a bridge which crosses the Kedah river.

Two years ago I have made an article called Kedah river from mid-town Alor Setar showing views from this bridge.

But that was from the southern part of the bridge...

This time I took pictures from the northern part. This is a picture downriver and the mouth of the Anak Bukit river (refer again the article How the place which gave rise to the name Alor Setar connects to Kedah river) is situated some 350 metres ahead...
