The first place we went to after getting out of Tanjung Pagar station is the tomb of Habib Nuh.
Located at a walking distance from the station, the tomb is well-known among Malays and Muslims of Singapura and Malaysia as it belongs to a saintly person said to be feared and well-respected by the British who used to colonised the island.
This is a prime location at the fringe of Singapura city centre. Because of that the present mainly Chinese government once tried to move it to make way for a highway. Instead they came into all sorts of unexplained troubles and had to curve the highway instead.
Anyway this is the tomb of Habib Nuh the saintly person who is a descendant of Prophet Muhammad SAW.
At the lower ground besides it lies a mosque where we did our prayers. For the record this trip was made with my wife, baby Al-Rasyid and a cousin...
